Ingredients

  • Fried yellow lentils nimkoo 1 packet
  • Onions 2 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 2 (chopped)
  • Potatoes 2 (boiled)
  • Somosa sheets 4 (fried)
  • Lemon 6
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Cottage Cheese 1 packet
  • Chaat spice as required
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (powder)
  • Red chili 1 tsp (powder)
  • Salt as required

Cooking Directions

  1. In bowl add the fried lentils, chopped green chilies, chopped onions, chopped mint leaves and boiled potatoes. Mix well.

  2. Now add the black pepper and red chili powder along with the lemon juice.

  3. In a serving platter spread a layer of fried lentils.

  4. Add the cubed cottage cheese, fried somosa sheets and finally the potato mixture.

  5. Mong Daal Chaat is ready to serve.
