Balochi Bhindi Gosht is a balochi traditional dish. Serve with chappati or naan and some yogurt. If you add little lemon juice in ladyfing then it wont get sticky. And the will be enhance more.

Ingredients

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Ladyfinger ½ kg
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Onion 3
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Garlic cloves 6 – 7
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Whole spices as required
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 125 gm (whipped)
  • All spice 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Remove top and bottom of ladyfingers.

  2. Deep fry in oil till golden brown, remove and keep aside.

  3. In blender put together onion, ginger, garlic clove and 1 cup water. Blend finely to a paste.

  4. Heat oil in pan, add mix whole spice and ginger garlic paste. Fry for 4 – 5 minutes.

  5. Now add turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder and mutton.

  6. Also add 1 cup water, cover and cook for 20 – 25 minutes.

  7. Add salt, yogurt and fried ladyfingers.

  8. Mix well and simmer for 4 – 5 minutes till oil comes on top.

  9. Lastly sprinkle all spice and serve hot.
