  • Cauliflower 1 (separated)
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Green chilies 8
  • Curry leaves few
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp (roasted and crushed)
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red pepper 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Mustard seeds 1 tbsp (ground)
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. In a bowl put together gram flour, egg, yogurt, baking soda and salt to taste.

  2. Mix well and make into thick batter.

  3. Add in separated cauliflower and then deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in color.

  4. Heat 1 cup oil in pan, add in ginger garlic paste, red pepper, roasted crushed cumin, turmeric and few curry leaves.

  5. Slightly fry and add green chilies.

  6. Again fry, add in fried cauliflower, salt to taste and ground mustard seeds.

  7. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.

  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
