This coconut halwa is a low fat dessert as compare to other rich heavy halwas. Because no butter or oil is required for making this halwa. You can make this halwa in large quantity, cut and preserve in jars for several days.

Ingredients

  • Coconut ½ kg ground
  • Dried whole milk ½ kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • Small cardamoms 12
  • Saffron color as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Make sugar syrup of sugar.

  2. Also add some water and ground cardamoms when you put sugar on flame.

  3. When sugar syrup is ready, add dried whole milk and ground coconut mixed together.

  4. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  5. Shift your halva to a tray and let it stay for five minutes.

  6. Then cut into squares or any shape of your choice.

  7. Serve delicious Coconut Halva.
