  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Hara chana 1 1/2 cup
  • Yoghurt 1/2 cup
  • Tomato 2
  • Onion 2 small
  • Ginger/Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Water 2 cups
  • Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander as required
  • Coconut Milk 2 tsps

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil, fry onions, add mutton, ginger and garlic.

  2. Fry well and add tomato, cook till the mutton tenderizes.

  3. Then add all the spices with 2 cups of water.

  4. Cook till meat tenderize further, add yoghurt, hara chana, fry and add coconut milk.

  5. When oil comes on the surface, add 1/2 cup water for gravy.

  6. Garnish with coriander & serve.

  1. Shazmeena, different spices are added to different recipes to create different flavors. However, if you love the flavor of cumin and coriander so much. It wont hurt to add a dash of both the spices to this recipe.
