Mix cornflour with some water to make a thin paste. Heat oil.
Dip pieces of cheese in cornflour and deep fry on high heat quickly, till a light golden.
Remove from oil and set aside.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in a saucepan and fry ginger / garlic paste and green chillies in it on medium heat about 4 minutes.
Add all the sauces and salt and continue to cook for a few minutes more.
Add 1/2 cup water and cook till it boils, add spring onions and the remaining cornflour to thicken the sauce.
Finally add the cottage cheese, stir to coat with gravy.
Serve as a side dish with chicken and rice.
