Ingredients

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Yogurt 1 ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic chopped 2 tbsp
  • Small Green chilli 5 to 6
  • Big green chilli 5 to 6
  • Gulzaar special masala 2 tbsp
  • Fenugreek leaves ½ tsp
  • Ginger ½ inch
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Gulzar Special Masala:
  • Kashmiri red chili 10 - 15
  • Rajhistani red chili 10 - 15
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Paprika 1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 4 tbsp
  • Cloves 5 - 6
  • Small cardamom 8 - 10
  • Star Anise 3 - 4
  • Mace 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Roast together all ingredients of Gulzar special masala and finely gring them.

  2. Heat oils in a wok.

  3. Add the chicken pieces and fry till they turn golden brown.

  4. Then add ginger garlic paste, small green chilies and whipped yogurt, fry for 5 minutes.

  5. Then add Gulzar special masala and salt, fry for 2 - 3 minutes.

  6. Finally add the large green chilies and fenugreek mix well.

  7. When the chicken tenders and the oil floats on top turn the flame off.

  8. Garnish with chopped ginger and serve.
