Immerse the tomatoes in boiling water.
Cover with a lid and let them stand in hot water for 15 minutes.
Remove and dry carefully with a cloth.
Peel and mash them to pulp.
Add sugar and vinegar.
Cook till the mixture comes to the boil.
Add garam masala, ginger, and raisins.
Cook on low heat, till sufficiently thick.
Remove from heat, cool and bottle.
