Easy and quick potato snacks great for appetizer, snack. Serve with tea or in iftar with garlic dip.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 4
  • Onion 1
  • Eggs 2
  • Plain flour ¼ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Green chili 1 tsp (chopped)
  • Oil for fry

Cooking Directions

  1. Peel and grate potato and onion.

  2. Add onion and potato in a muslin cloth and twist to squeeze out all water.

  3. Now add potato and onion in a bowl, mix eggs, plain flour, salt, black pepper and green chilies.

  4. If the batter is thin, add a little more plain flour.

  5. Heat 2 tbsp oil in frying pan, take batter in cooking spoon and spread in frying pan.

  6. Press into a flattened disc, cook for 5 minutes on each side, as it cooks.

  7. Serve with butter or cream.

  8. Note: Freeze for later use, just be sure to place parchment paper between layers so they don't stuck together!
