Ingredients

  • Eggs 2
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Castor Sugar ½ cup
  • Raisin ½ cup
  • Dates ½ cup
  • Butter 125 gm
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon essence ½ tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Beat together butter, castor sugar and eggs.

  2. Sift together flour and baking powder.

  3. Fold butter mixture into flour and add lemon essence, mix well.

  4. Now add dates and raisin and fold in again.

  5. Pour this mixture in baking tin and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
