Ingredients

  • Mutton leg 1 (small)
  • Papaya paste 4 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4 – 5 (chopped)
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Aluminum foil as required
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Onion 2 (chopped)
  • Tomatoes 3 (chopped)
  • Capsicum 2 (chopped)

Cooking Directions

  1. Debone the mutton leg.

  2. Now beat with an steak hammer to flatten.

  3. Now marinate well with papaya paste. Keep it aside.

  4. In a bowl mix together ginger garlic paste, green chilies, all spice powder, chili powder, black pepper, salt, oil and lemon juice. Mix well.

  5. Now marinate the mutton leg with marinade mixture.

  6. Wrap marinated leg in aluminum foil.

  7. Add onion, tomatoes and capsicum on top.

  8. Lastly bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes.

  9. Now remove from oven, dish it out and serve hot.
