Preheat oven to 150°C.
Grease 8 inch mold with clarified butter and then sprinkle little plain flour on it.
Mix butter and brown sugar in a bowl.
Add 2 tbsp of sugar in a pan and cook till it melts and becomes dark brown.
Add little water in the sugar syrup and mix in the butter mixture.
Sift baking powder and plain flour together.
Now add an egg and 1 tbsp of the sifted plain flour and mix well.
Similarly, add the remaining 3 eggs and 3 tbsp plain flour and mix well.
Then add the cake spice powder and golden syrup and mix well.
Mix red cherries, green cherries, almonds, large currants, raisins, orange zest, vanilla essence and lemon essence in the remaining plain flour and fold in the butter mixture.
Now add this mixture in the greased mold and bake for 1 hour on 150°C.
Take it out, let it cool and serve.
