Ingredients

  • Milk 1 litre
  • Vermicelli(broken) 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Dry Dates(choaray) 8
  • Almonds(peeled & chopped) 10-12
  • Pistachios(peeled & chopped) 15
  • Cardamoms(peeled & crushed) 6
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Cloves 2-4

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat ghee, add cloves & cardamoms then add vermicelli & fry lightly.

  2. Take out the vermicelli with a slotted spoon and fry the nuts lightly in the same ghee.

  3. Remove nuts, remove pan from heat and cool for 5 minutes.

  4. Pour milk in pan, add sugar & cook till sugar dissolves completely.

  5. Add the vermicelli and nuts, stir. Serve hot.
