Ingredients

  • Keri (Raw Mango) 1/2 kg
  • Water 2-1/2 cup
  • Sugar 750 gm
  • Small Cardamom Seeds 1 tbsp
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash raw mangoes under running water.
    Peel off and grate them.

  2. Soak in water for 2 hours.

  3. Drain out water and soak them in fresh water again.

  4. Again drain out the water of karees.

  5. Cook sugar in water until it dissolves and add karees in it.

  6. Cook at a slow flame for 30 minutes.

  7. Add small cardamom seeds in it.

  8. Add saffron when it starts boiling.
    Mix well for some time and take off from the stove.
