  • Unripe mango 1 kg
  • Mustard seeds 1 cup
  • Red chilli powder 1 cup
  • Asafetida 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds coarsely ground ½ cup
  • Salt 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard oil 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut the mangoes and then sprinkle salt on them.

  2. Mix and keep aside for 15 minutes..

  3. Heat oil and then cool completely.

  4. Mix all the spices and add half of the oil into it.

  5. Add mangoes and mix well.

  6. Keep in a pickle jar for a day.

  7. The next day add the rest of the oil and store in an air tight jar.
