Ingredients

  • For Kofta:
  • Beef mince 1/2 cup
  • Gram pulse/Chana daal 1/2 cup
  • Onion sliced 1 large
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Whole dried chillies 6
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Salt heaped 1 tsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • For Gravy:
  • brown onion chopped 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli heaped 1 tsp
  • Yogurt beaten 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic passte 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Salt heaped 1 tsp
  • Water 3 cups
  • Egg beaten 1
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Green coriander chopped 1/4 cup
  • Egg 4 boiled (cut in length)

Cooking Directions

  1. For Gravy: Heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste and 1/4 cup water fry it.

  2. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, yogurt, turmeric and brown onion  and 2 cup water.

  3. Cook fry well and cook until thick gravy.

  4. For Koftas: In a pan put mince, daal, onion and spices and water cover and cook untill pulse get tender.

  5. Remove from stove and let it cool at room temperature.

  6. Chop in chopper boiled mince.

  7. Also chop green coriander, all spices powder add both in mince mix well.

  8. Add beaten egg and mix in mince mixture.

  9. Cover egg pieces by mince mixture.

  10. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown.

  11. Pour gravy in serving dish put prepared koftas on gravy.

  12. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with naan.

  2. Just about to try this....I think the mince quantity is a typing error. It can't be 1/2 cup. It has got to be 1/2 kg.
