Guava Jelly - Making Guava jelly at home is really simple and extremely delicious. You just need a few easily available ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Ripe guavas 1, 1/2 kg
  • Water 1, 1/2 liter
  • Sugar 1, 1/4 kg
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Powdered citric acid 4 gm

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut guavas into slices and add the water.

  2. Boil for 30-40 minutes till soft.

  3. Strain through a muslin cloth till all the juice is extracted.

  4. Add lime juice and sugar and boil till sugar melts and the pulp is thick.

  5. Add citric acid.

  6. Boil once more.

  7. Remove, cool and store in jars.
