Ingredients

  • Chicken (whole) 1 kg
  • Ghee 5 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste (heaped) 1 tbsp
  • (For Masala powder)
  • Whole coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Button red chillies 12 pieces
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Take the whole chicken and make deep cuts.

  2. Heat a griddle and separately toast red button chillies, whole cumin seeds and whole coriander seeds.

  3. Grind them together and keep aside.

  4. In a mixing bowl add whipped yogurt, the ground masala, cardamom powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt to taste.

  5. Mix well then add ghee and mix again.

  6. Coat the chicken with the marinade and marinate overnight.

  7. Now put the chicken in pan and cook 15 minutes on low flame.

  8. Then change chicken side and again cook for 15 minutes.

  9. When chicken cooked finally then dish out and serve it.
