Ingredients

  • Curd 1 cup
  • White pumpkin (lauki) 1/2 kg
  • Aniseed 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1/2" piece
  • Green chillies 3
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Cloves 5-6
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Cardamoms 2
  • Cinnamon 1" stick
  • Salt to tastw
  • Ghee as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut pumpkin into round pieces and deep fry.

  2. Now put the pumpkin in a pan with a little water to cook over medium heat, adding aniseed, ginger paste, ground black pepper, cumin seeds, cloves, chopped coriander, chillies and salt.

  3. When softened, add well beaten curd.

  4. Heat 2 tsp oil and add cardamoms and cinnamon.

  5. Pour over the vegetables and cook till done.
