  • Plain flour 3 cups
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Eggs 3
  • Yeast 2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 4 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • For filling:
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Cashew Nuts 50 gm
  • Almonds 50 gm
  • Cherries 50 gm

Cooking Directions

  1. In a bowl add the flour, eggs baking powder, sugar, salt and oil.

  2. Now add the milk and mix all the ingredients well.

  3. Knead into smooth dough. Cover the dough and set aside for 1 hour.

  4. For FILLING:

  5. Add the sugar, cashew nuts, almonds and sugar.

  6. Now take the dough and by using your hand or a rolling pin, roll the dough into a naan.

  7. By using your hand rolling pin make a big naan sprinkle sugar and dry fruits on top of the naan.

  8. Then fold the edges of the dough up over the stuffing and pinch it together to enclose the stuffing.

  9. With the help of brush apply the egg on top of the naan.

  10. Bake at 200C.
