Ingredients

  • Beef undercut 200 gm (cut into small pieces)
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Capsicum 1 (sliced)
  • Carrot 1 (sliced)
  • Garlic cloves 4 to 5 (chopped)
  • Eggs 3
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper to taste
  • White pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Shallots for garnishing 2 (thinly sliced)

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil rice in salted water, sieve and set aside.

  2. Season eggs with salt and pepper, make scrambled eggs and keep aside.

  3. Season beef with salt and pepper and cook in a large wok till done.

  4. Add all the vegetables in beef and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.

  5. Add the boiled rice, Worcestershire sauce, scrambled eggs, salt and pepper to taste and the remaining spices.

  6. Cook over high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.

  7. The tasty Beef Fried Rice is ready.

  8. Mix in shallots and serve.

  9. Tips: To prevent rice grains from sticking together during cooking, add one spoon of vinegar or lemon juice just before you sieve the rice.
