Ingredients

  • Green gram (moong dal), washed 1 1/4 cups / 250 gm
  • Ginger-garlic (adrak-lasan) paste 2 tbsp / 30 gm
  • Green chillies, chopped 3
  • Green coriander (hara dhaniya), chopped 1 tbsp / 15 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak the green gram for 2-3 hours.

  2. Drain and grind to a fine paste, adding a little water.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients (except oil) and mix well.

  4. Add a little more water to bring the mixture to a dropping consistency.

  5. Smear 2 tsp of oil in a non-stick pan, pour 2 tbsp of the mixture in the pan and spread to form a flat round pancake.

  6. Cook over a low flame till both the sides are golden brown in colour.

  7. Fry 6-8 such round pancakes.

  8. Serve hot with Lahsun ki chutney or Dhaniya ki chutney.
