Ingredients

  • Plum 2 packet (dried)
  • Tamarind pulp 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Almonds 10 (boiled)
  • Ginger 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Whole red chilies 10
  • Black seeds 1 tsp
  • Vinegar ½ cup
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak plums in hot water.

  2. When they turn soft mash them up with your hand.

  3. Now add in tamarind pulp, sugar, almonds, ginger, red chilies, black seeds and vinegar in a wok and cook it on a low flame.

  4. When the chutney is thick take it out of the flame and cool it.

  5. Add in salt (to taste).

  6. Aloo Bukharay ki Chutney is ready to serve.
