Here is the simple recipe of achar gohst, hope if anyone tries to make this dish with Indian spices they will sure love to eat. Its a diabetic and non diabetic food which any one can eat and like it!

  • Beef (boneless) 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Green chillies whole 200 gm
  • Onion seeds 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate beef cubes with ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt and yogurt for 2 hours.

  2. Heat oil add meat cook over low heat.

  3. Add 2 cups of water, cover and cook till meat tender.

  4. Now add tomato puree with stuffed green chillies, cover and cook on very low flame till meat and chillies tender.

  5. Grind together coarsely onion seeds and fennel seeds.

  6. Mix in 1/2 tsp salt slit green chillies from one side length wise.

  7. Remove seeds, stuff chillies with grinded fennel seeds and fennel seeds mixture.
