Ingredients

  • Kidney beans soaked 2 cups
  • Ginger chopped 1"
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Green chillies, chopped 5
  • Coriander and curry leaves, chopped as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Coarse grind kidney beans with little water to make a thick paste.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Moisten your palms and make a round petty with 2 tbsp of the mixture on your palms.

  4. Drop it in hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown.

  5. Repeat till the batter is finished.

  6. Serve with mint chutney.
