Wash leaves thoroughly and spread out in a colander to dry.
In bowl mix gram flour with all ingredients and a little water if required Spread the gram flour mixture on the back of each leaf and role it up.
Heat water in a large pan and place a fine colander on it, place all rolled leaves on it and steam gently, turn when one side is done, Remove from heat.
Heat oil in a large karahi and fry the leaves on low heat till golden brown.
Drain and spread on absorbent kitchen paper and with a sharp knife cut into four pieces.
Serve hot. If you want to serve these in a curry, use the recipe for gram flour khandoyan curry.
