  • Cottage cheese 300 gm (cubed)
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Aniseeds 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 pinch
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 4-5 (crushed)
  • Piece of ginger ½ inch (chopped)
  • Curd ½ cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onions 2 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 3-4 (chopped)
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder 1½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil, add aniseeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, onion seeds and cumin and let them splutter.

  2. Add chopped green chilies and onions.

  3. Once onions are golden, add turmeric and ginger garlic, cook and add yogurt.

  4. Lastly add salt and dried mango powder.

  5. Just before serving, fold in the cottage cheese cubes.
