Ingredients

  • Cucumber 2-3 (sliced into strips)
  • Grated coconut 2 tbsp (toasted without oil)
  • Fresh red chilli peppers 6
  • Salt to taste
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Coriander 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Mint 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Limes 4 (juice squeezed)

Cooking Directions

  1. Finally crush the toasted grated coconut with the red chili pepper in a grater.

  2. Add the brown sugar, salt and lime juice and grate for a few seconds.

  3. Place the cucumber in a bowl and mix in the paste, coriander and mint.

  4. The salad should not be prepared until just before it is to be served.

  5. Serve as an appetizer or side dish.
