Ingredients

  • Dry milk powder 2 cups
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • All purpose flour 2 tsp
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Egg 2
  • Milk 2 kg
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Green cardamom 8-10
  • Pstachio as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Bring boil in milk add cardamom and sugar.

  2. Now cook milk for 5-10 minutes.

  3. In a bowl put milk powder, baking powder, plain flour and melted ghee and knead with beaten eggs and make soft medium dough.

  4. Make small balls and add into milk cook on high flame and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Then lower the flame cook it for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Garnish with pistachio and serve chilled.

  17. Fatima, you don't to knead the dough for that long. Just mix and knead it properly until everything is well blended. You can make the balls of all the mixture first and then add them all to milk together.

  19. Rabia, you have to measure the exact quantity for perfect Rasmalais. Use measuring spoons and cup to measure a perfect ratio.
