Balushahi

In a bowl add fine flour and soda, tatric acid, alum (pitkhari), half cup water and clarified ghee.

Knead well.

Now make small balls of dough.

Make a dent in the center of the dough ball with your thumb.

Fry in oil till golden.

Now prepare sugar syrup with sugar, cardamom and water on medium heat.

Soak the balushahi in sugar syrup for half an hour.

Garnish with silver leaves and pistachio, serve.
