A very easy and tasteful recipe of kofta/ mince balls. Its fried and served with thread on shahlick skewers. Its impressive presentation will fill your mouth with water.

  • Beef mince ½ kg
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Egg 1
  • Garlic cloves 3 – 4 (chopped)
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp (crushed)
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs 3 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Oil for fry
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Mint leaves ¼ bunch

Cooking Directions

  1. In chopper put together mince, onion, egg, garlic cloves, cumin seeds, all spice powder and chili powder. Chopperize well.

  2. Remove mixture in a bowl.

  3. Also add bread crumbs and flour. Mix well.

  4. Now make small mince balls, thread 3 mince balls in each shashlik stick.

  5. Heat oil and fry them.

  6. Beat yogurt in a bowl.

  7. Add in garlic paste, cumin seeds, salt and coriander leaves. Mix well.

  8. Now arrange fried kofta shashlik sticks in a platter.

  9. Spread prepared yogurt sauce on top and serve hot.
