Ingredients

  • Cauliflower 1 medium
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cumin 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Coriander 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Potatoes 3 (boiled, chopped)
  • Tomatoes 3 (boiled)
  • Water 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Finely chop cauliflower and lightly fry in oil.

  2. In the remaining oil add onion, ginger garlic paste and mustard seeds.

  3. Fry for 1 -2 minutes.

  4. Now add yogurt, cumin, crushed coriander, turmeric, crushed red pepper, chili powder, salt, potatoes, tomatoes, fried cauliflower and 1 cup water.

  5. Cover and cook for 8 – 10 minutes.

  6. Remove lid and fry well, till oil forms a layer.

  7. Lastly add coriander leaves, dry fenugreek leaves and all spice powder.

  8. Dish it out and serve hot.
