- Here is a fantastic snack recipe by Chef Rida Aftab that is easy to make yet tasty. These pakodas are prepared with bread slices, c they coated one by one with prepared spicy gram flour mixture then fried. Goes excellent if you serve with ketchup or garlic sauce.

  • بریڈ سلائس چار عدد (Bread slice 4)
  • بیسن ایک پاؤ (Gram flour ¼ kg)
  • لال مرچ ایک چائے کا چمچ (کٹی ہوئی) (Red chili 1 tsp crushed)
  • انار دانہ ایک کھانے کا چمچ (Pomegranate seed 1 tbsp)
  • اجوائن آدھا چائے کا چمچ (Celery seeds ½ tsp)
  • دھنیا دو کھانے کے چمچ (ثابت) (Coriander 2 tbsp whole)
  • زیرہ دو کھانے کے چمچ (Cumin 2 tbsp)
  • میتھی دو کھانے کے چمچ (سوکھی) (Fenugreek 2 tbsp dry)
  • نمک حسبِ ذائقہ (Salt to taste)

  1. پہلے لال مرچ، انار دانہ، اجوائن، ثابت دھنیا، زیرہ، سوکھی میتھی اور نمک کو مِکس(mix)  کریں۔

  2. پھر اس مکسچر(mixture)  کو بیسن میں ملا کر پانی میں گھول لیں۔

  3. اب بریڈ سلائس(bread slice)  اس میں ڈپ(dip)  کرکے گرم تیل میں فرائی  (fry)کرلیں۔

  4. اور ایک ڈش(dish)  میں رکھ کر کیچپ(ketchup)  کے ساتھ گرم گرم سرو  (serve)کریں۔
