Suji Ki Kheer - You would never have made a dessert so quick, simple and delicious. Suji ki kheer cooks in only 30 minutes with very little effort. Great recipe for working ladies.

Ingredients

  • Milk 1 kg
  • Semolina 2 tbsp (heaped)
  • Sugar 2 tbsp or to taste
  • Cardamom seeds (crushed) of 3
  • Almonds (crushed) 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Bring milk to a boil.

  2. Mix in crushed cardamom seeds and sugar.

  3. Cook on Medium heat till milk thicken slightly. (approximately 10 to 15 minutes)

  4. Sprinkle in semolina while stirring.

  5. Now add in crushed almonds.

  6. Let it simmer on medium heat while stirring till kheer thickens.

  7. Don't thicken it too much, this kheer tastes better when it is only slightly thick.

  8. Chill well and serve. (Suji Ki Kheer tastes best when it is nicely chilled)
