Ingredients

  • Okra 1/2 kg, wash and drain, chop finely
  • Onions 4 medium, finely chopped
  • Red chillies 1/2 tbsp, crushed
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon 3
  • Green chillies 3 chopped
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a karahi and fry onions till golden brown.

  2. Add okra, red chillies, and turmeric and cumin seeds.

  3. Cook for a few minutes stirring frequently.

  4. Then cover and cook for five minutes.

  5. Sprinkle the juice of three lemons, green chillies and salt.

  6. Serve hot with puri.
