- These very crispy mini tarts filled with a chickpeas, masoor lentils and spicy mixture yogurt. Theese crispy pyalas or cases can be prepared days in advance and keep them stored in air-tight jars. Must prepare and serve these pretty looks mini piyala chaat to display your an excellent culinary skills to your guest!

  • کابلی چنے آدھا کلو (رات بھر بھیگے ہوئے) (Chickpeas 1 kg soaked overnight)
  • مسور کی دال آدھی پیالی (Red lentils ½ cup)
  • ہلدی ایک چائے کا چمچ (پسی ہوئی) (Turmeric powder 1 tsp)
  • آلو دو عدد (چھوٹے چوکور ٹکڑے کاٹ لیں) (Potatoes 2 diced)
  • نمک حسبِ ذائقہ (Salt to taste)
  • تیل تلنے کے لیے (Oil for frying)
  • رُول کی پٹیاں پیش کرنے کے لیے (Roll strips for serving)
  • ہری چٹنی کے لیے:
  • ہرا دھینا آدھی گڈی (Fresh coriander ½ bunch)
  • پودینہ آدھی گڈی (Mint ½ bunch)
  • ہری مرچ چھ عدد (Green chillies 6)
  • املی کا گُودا آدھی پیالی (Tamarind pulp ½ cup)
  • چینی دو کھانے کے چمچ (Sugar 2 tbsp)
  • نمک حسبِ ضرورت (Salt as required)
  • اسپیشل مصالحے کے لیے:
  • کباب چینی تین عدد (ثابت) (Pimento 3 whole)
  • پپری تین عدد (ثابت) (Pappri 3 whole)
  • کالی مرچ دو کھانے کے چمچ (ثابت) (Black peppercorns 2 tbsp)
  • سجانے کے لیے:
  • پیاز آدھی پیالی (چوپ کی ہوئی) (Onion ½ cup chopped)
  • ٹماٹر آدھی پیالی (چوپ کئے ہوئے) (Tomatoes ½ cup chopped)
  • ہرا دھینا آدھی پیالی (چوپ کیا ہوا) (Fresh coriander ½ cup chopped)
  • دہی ایک پیالی (پھینٹی ہوئی) (Yogurt 1 cup beaten)
  • چاٹ مصالحہ حسبِ ضرورت (Chaat masala as required)

  1. اسپیشل (special)مصالحے کے اجزاء بلینڈر (blender)میں ڈال کر یکجان کرلیں۔

  2. ہری چٹنی کے تمام اجزاء بلینڈر (blender)میں ڈال کر چٹنی بنالیں۔

  3. دیگچی میں چنے، دال، نمک اور ہلدی کو چنے نرم ہونے اور مسور کی دال گل (tender) جانے تک پکائیں۔

  4. پانی خشک ہونے کے قریب ہو تو آلو شامل کریں اور دو منٹ مزید پکائیں (cook)۔

  5. کڑاہی میں تیل گرم کریں۔

  6. ایک چھلنی میں رُول (roll)کی پٹی رکھیں، اس کے اُوپر دوسری چھلنی رکھ کر اسے کڑاہی میں سنہری تَل (fry) لیں، اس عمل کو دہراتے ہوئے دوسرے پیالے بھی تیار کر لیں۔

  7. تیار پیالوں میں چنے ڈال دیں۔

  8. اس کے اُوپر چاٹ مصالحہ (chaat masala)، دہی، چٹنی، پیاز، ٹماٹر، ہرا دھنیا اور اسپیشل مصالحہ(special masala) چھڑک کر پیش کریں۔
