Delicious mince with capsicum is a variety of taste. Family would like it with chapati or plain rice on week days lunch or in dinner.

Ingredients

  • Mince ½ kg
  • Capsicum 2
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion 2 cup (sliced)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp heaped
  • Salt 1 tsp heaped
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Lemon juice ¼ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil fry onion until soft remove half of the fried onion and keep aside.

  2. Allow remaining onion to fry until golden.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, chili powder, turmeric, coriander and cumin.

  4. Add mince, fry well until oil comes out.

  5. Remove half the mince and keep aside.

  6. Cut capsicum and tomatoes in 1 inch pieces and keep aside.

  7. Put the tomatoes on the mince on the pan.

  8. Cover with remaining onion which we took out.

  9. Add capsicum on top of onion, cover with remaining mince.

  10. Add garam masala powder over the mince, green chilies, coriander leaves and lemon juice.

  11. Cover with lid and cook on low flame.

  12. Simmer once and remove, serve with roti.

  1. I've made this a few times now, me and the wife absolutely love it. Great recipe. I love the way the peppers are fresh and lightly steamed over the spiced meat and onions. Very tasty
