Ingredients

  • Meat ½ kg
  • Carrot 250 gm
  • Tomato 250 gm
  • Onion 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp
  • Onion seeds ½ tsp
  • Fennel seeds 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 2 tsp
  • Red chili 2 tbsp (crushed)
  • Oil ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Put onion, meat, oil, salt, ginger garlic paste, crushed red chili, turmeric powder and 1 glass of water in a clay pot.

  2. Cover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes till meat is tender.

  3. Now add chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, mustard seeds, onion seeds and fennel seeds.

  4. Fry well till oil comes on top.

  5. Add sliced carrot and cook for 20 minutes on low flame.

  6. Then add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves, all spice powder and green chilies.

  7. Turn the flame off.

  8. Delicious Achari Gajar Gosht is ready to serve.
