  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Onion (thin finely chopped) 2
  • Curd 1/2 kg
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Butter 100 gram
  • Whole spice powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed dry coriander 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Crushed cumin 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and then add butter and chicken.

  2. Cook chicken till its color changes.

  3. Add onion and cook for a while.

  4. Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili, cumin, ginger garlic paste, tomato paste or 250 gram tomato puree. Mix well.

  5. Add curd and cover with the lid. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes.

  6. Turn off the flame and add cream, lemon juice, green chili, coriander and whole spice powder.

  7. Mix properly and dish it out.

  8. Serve hot with Roghni Naan.
