Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 kg (16 pieces)
  • Brown onion 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • Potatoes 3 (cut into medium cubes)
  • French beans 1 ½ cup (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • Soya ½ bunch (finely chopped)
  • Fenugreek leaves 4 bunches (chopped)
  • Peas ½ cup
  • Rice ½ kg
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, salt and tomatoes fry well.

  2. Add ½ cup brown onion with chicken fry for 5 minutes.

  3. Now add all the vegetables with 1 ½ cup water, cover and cook till chicken and vegetables done.

  4. Place the boil rice over the cooked chicken and vegetable mixture.

  5. Sprinkle the reserved onion, coriander, lemon juice, cover tightly and cook on steam for 15 minutes.

  6. Serve hot.
