Ingredients

  • Peas 1 cup
  • Coriander 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Cabbage 1
  • Potatoes 2 (peeled and chopped length)
  • Carrots 2 (peeled and chopped)
  • Onions 2 (chopped)
  • Green chillies 3 (sliced)
  • Capsicums 3 (cut into cubes)
  • Whole red chillies 3 – 4
  • Oil ½ cup
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp (ground)
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • White vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Ginger 1 tbsp (sliced)
  • Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. In a cooking pan, add oil and fry whole red chillies for 2 minutes.

  2. Then add chopped onions, capsicums, carrots, cabbage, peas, and stir fry.

  3. Then add salt, ginger, green chillies, crushed black pepper and mix.

  4. Deep fry the potatoes.

  5. Add fried potatoes, white vinegar, tomato paste, tomato sauce and ground white cumin seeds and mix.

  6. Allow simmering for 10 minutes.

  7. Garnish with coriander and serve with plain rice.
