Good recipe! Have been making curry for 30 years and the recipe is about the same except for the piaz part, she added slightly thick sliced piz. I watched my mother cook it like it was a walk in the park. She would start then go back to her magazine then come back to it and stir a couple of time and check spices(she never measured and I follow in her footsteps). Sliced onions were added towards the end for texture and flavor. So when the curry was done they had a slight crunch to them. Makes for an superb soft and sooth curry with an occasional crunchy onion piece. She also added few sprigs of hara dhanya and took them out after a min or so to tie the rest of the dhanya(about half a bunch) to add to the curry. If adding pakora, standard pakora recipe applies and make curry quite thin because the pakoras will release starch which will make curry thick.
