Run through this recipe if you are an admirer of Chicken. Chicken rice is an utmost excellent dish of chicken. If you are thinking that it is like biyani then it’s not the case. It’s a microwave made dish hence less in calories than typical biryani.

  • Chicken boneless 300 gm (cut into small cubes)
  • Rice 250 gm
  • Chicken stock 3 cup
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • Clove 3 – 4
  • Cinnamon 1 – 2
  • Big cardamom 2 – 3
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Brown onions ½ cup
  • Butter ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash and soak the rice for one hour the strain.

  2. Take a microwave proof bowl and add the chicken onions, garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, cloves, cinnamon, big cardamom, all spice powder, butter and salt.

  3. Place in a microwave proof mixing bowl and cook at 100% for 30 minutes.

  4. Remove, mix the contents and add the rice followed by the chicken stock and black pepper.

  5. Place the bowl again in the microwave and cook at 100% until the rice is fully cooked.

  6. Remove and dish out.

  7. Garnish with brown onions.
