Ingredients

  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onions 1 cup (chopped)
  • Mince 250 gm
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Self-rising flour 2 cup
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green chilies 3 to 4 (chopped)
  • Mozzarella cheese as required (cut into 1 inch cubes)
  • Oil or ghee 1/3 cup
  • Cold water to knead
  • Oil for fry

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat ghee 1 tbsp and fry half the onions until brown add mince and fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Add the remaining onion, all spice and salt.

  3. Cover and cook till mince tender and dry.

  4. Mix the corn flour into a paste with water and add to the mince.

  5. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove and cool.

  6. Mix the self-rising flour and salt. Rub in ghee.

  7. Knead with water to form into a dough.

  8. Roll out thinly and cut into 4 inch rounds put mince mixture on 1 half.

  9. Put a cube of cheese fold the pastry over, ceiling the edges with water heat oil and deep fry puffs.

  10. Mince curry puffs are ready to serve.
