Ingredients

  • Mash lentil 2 cup
  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoe 1-2
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Red pepper 2 tsp
  • Salt according to taste
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Green chili 6
  • Mint 1 cup (or half bunch)
  • Butter 100 g
  • Water 1.5 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Take oil in a pan and brown the onions in it.

  2. Now add tomatoes, ginger, garlic and turmeric.

  3. Also add garam masala, salt and red pepper in the above pan.

  4. Now cook all of them well.

  5. Then add lentil in the pan and also add water.

  6. Now let it cook on slow-medium heat.

  7. Cook till the ingredients starts roasting again.

  8. Now add green chilies, mint, black pepper and butter.

  9. Cover the lid and cook for 5-10 minutes on slow heat.

  10. The dish is ready to be served.
