  • All-purpose flour 120 gm
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Baking cocoa 60 gm
  • Baking powder ¾ tsp
  • Baking soda ¾ tsp
  • Salt 1/3 teaspoon
  • Eggs 2 (beaten or eggs substitute)
  • Milk 100 ml
  • Cooking oil 50 ml
  • Water 100 ml (boiled)
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • Ice cream 1 scope

Cooking Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

  2. In a bowl, combine egg, milk, oil and vanilla; add to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.

  3. Pour boiling water over batter.

  4. Beat on low speed until blended.

  5. Scrape bowl, and beat 2 minutes on medium speed.

  6. Pour batter into prepared steamer pan.

  7. Bake in the preheated steamer for 30 – 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

  8. Allow to cool. Serve with ice cream.
