Mutabbaq kind of Arabic filled paratha is great for lunch or dinner. You can make and enjoy mutabbaq in ifar or suhoor.

  • Samosa bread 2 (large, whole)
  • Roll square patti 4 or 2 romali bread
  • Mince ½ kg (roasted)
  • Green onion 1 cup with leaves (chopped)
  • Tomato 2 (cut into tiny cubes)
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Eggs 2 – 3 (boiled, chopped)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Chat masala 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Spread samosa bread add 2 small square patti, spread mince on it then green onion, coriander, tomatoes, allspice, chat masala and boiled egg.

  2. Seal well from all four sides with flour paste.

  3. Fry on griddle on low flame on both sides till golden.

  4. Cut into pieces and serve hot.

  1. muttabaq is very traditional dish in saudia arabia ..where i have been eaten since my child the time it has some variation..very common flavor is egg and they cook in banana flavor..but i am wondering why pakistani chefs changed its recipe completely..they didnt deliver the actual recipe ..and i am searching its actual method.... please if some one knows then share it kindly but please please dont change in recipe thank you
