Aaloo Aur Chana Chaat (Potato and Chickpea Chaat)

Boil the chickpeas with yellow lentils and baking soda till soft and dry.

Add in the rest of the ingredients except onion and tomatoes.

Let it cook for 1 minute and the turn off the flame.

Add in tomatoes and onion, mix well.

Take out in a bowl, pour the tamarind chutney over it and serve warm.

For Tamarind chutney: Soak the tamarind in 500 ml hot boiling water.

Cover and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Then squeeze the pulp out of tamarind with your hand and remove seeds.

Now grind the tamarind pulp in the rest of the tamarind chutney ingredients.
