  • English Spinach 1 bunch
  • Diced Potatoes 1 cup
  • Olive Oil 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chili Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Onion Chopped 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Chop the English spinach and keep the stems separate from the leaves.

  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and stir fry till the onions turn brown.

  3. In a cup take all the spices and make a paste with three tablespoon of water.

  4. Add this paste to pan and stir fry till oil separates.

  5. Add chopped potatoes and stir fry for 2 minutes.

  6. Add salt and 1/2 cup of water and cook for 5 minutes.

  7. Add the stems of the spinach and cook for 2 minutes.

  8. Add the leaves, stir to mix, cover and cook for 1 minute.

  9. Remove from heat.
