  • Rice 2 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Orange juice 1 cup
  • Food color 1 pinch
  • Dry fruit ½ cup
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Clove 4 – 5
  • Milk solid 200 gm
  • Cinnamon 2 – 3 sticks
  • Orange peel as required
  • Clarified butter ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Rinse rice and soak in water.

  2. In a pan add water and sugar to cook and turn it in syrup.

  3. Now in another pan heat clarified butter and put cinnamon and clove to crackle.

  4. Now add rice and as required water to cook.

  5. When water dries add sugar syrup and half of milk solid.

  6. Now put few drops of kewra essence and orange juice to mix and cover it.

  7. In the add food color and cover the lid and simmer it.

  8. In the end put orange peel from top and garnish it with dry fruits and serve.
